**Aerotek: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** This position includes a competitive hourly rate with an additional shift differential. The role requires participation in all warehouse activities including loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-away, and more. The successful candidate must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 40 lbs, and operate a stand-up forklift. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload products from trailers and containers. + Fulfill orders accurately and efficiently. + Conduct cycle counting and inventory management. + Place products into designated storage locations. + Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company GDPs. + Count all products and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers (part numbers, batches, etc.). + Report any shortages, overages, or damages on appropriate forms. + Apply appropriate labels to products. + Efficiently stack and store products to prevent damage. + Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area following company housekeeping policies and procedures. + Ensure compliance with food safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Experience operating a stand-up forklift. + Proficiency in inventory management and material handling. + Ability to use RF scanners for picking and shipping/receiving. + Experience in warehouse operations including unloading, production, order picking, and loading. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of warehouse inventory procedures. + Experience in a temperature-controlled environment. **Why Work Here?** Our newer distribution center in Jessup, PA offers a clean and temperature-controlled environment with opportunities for growth within the company.
