**Aerotek is hiring for Forklift Operator with $21/hr - $24/hr** **Can start Immediately!!!!!** **Job Description:** As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics team by efficiently loading and unloading freight from vehicles and containers. Your responsibilities will include sorting freight by size and destination, decoding freight coding to expedite movement, and reconciling driver pick-up and delivery manifests. Additionally, you will label, weigh, and dimension freight, maintain a clean and safe work area, and document any damaged or misrouted shipments. **Key Responsibilities:** + Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers. + Sort freight according to size and destination. + Decode freight coding to facilitate quick movement and tracing. + Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests. + Label, weigh, and dimension freight. + Maintain a clean and safe dock area through regular cleanup activities. + Record and report damaged or misrouted shipments. **Essential Skills:** + Proficiency in operating a forklift. + Experience in material handling and inventory management. + Ability to read and decode freight coding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Forklift Operator certification. + Experience as an Equipment Operator. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting materials. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and grow within a clean, modern facility that values employee development.
