Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

We are looking to add a forklift operator and material handler to our team. This position utilizes a sit-down forklift and is crucial for our welding team. The forklift operator will be responsible for feeding racks to the production welders, pulling them upon completion, taking the completed racks to the wash bay, and prepping them before they are sent to powder coating.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a sit-down forklift to feed racks to production welders.Pull completed racks from production and transport them to the wash bay.Prepare racks for powder coating after washing.Handle materials efficiently and safely.Assist with general labor tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with sit-down forklift operation.Material handling experience.Attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral labor experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The production facility is not climate controlled, so it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The first shift hours are 5 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling a 45-hour work week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erie, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
