Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in Ottsville, PA. This full-time position requires working on the 1st shift from 6am to 4pm with overtime available. The role involves operating forklifts to move various poured concrete structures, culverts, drains, and other materials throughout the yard.

ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts ranging from 5K to 25K capacity to move larger materials and uneven loads.Load and unload building and construction materials, and manage receiving, organizing, and inventory control.Handle a variety of tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.Interact with customers picking up materials, providing excellent customer service.Maintain strong organizational skills to keep the yard orderly.Essential SkillsMaterial handling experience.General labor skills.Experience with sit-down forklifts.Proven ability to unload and load materials efficiently.Ability to work outdoors year-round.Capability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction, landscaping, or concrete pouring.Experience in manual labor.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working outdoors year-round, moving cement and building products. The position is on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, exposure to varying weather conditions, bending or stooping, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently lifting 100 pounds or more.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ottsville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
