Adecco is searching for a forklift operator in the Rochester Hills, MI area at a large logistics company. The role is on 2nd shift 2:30 PM to 11PM M-F. The ideal candidate needs to be able to use different computer systems, be able to work as a team and independently, and operate a Hilo/Forklift in tight areas. If this role is of interest and you qualify, please APPLY NOW! **Job title** : Material Handler/Forklift Operator + **Job Summary** The candidate will work as a Material Handler, responsible for handling shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. They will also read orders to determine items to be moved or shipped and ensure the warehouse is safe for traffic. **Skill Requirements** _Must-Have Requirements:_ + **Hilo experience** + **Basic computer skills** + Knowledge of **Outlook** , **Excel** , and **Word** _Preferred Requirements:_ + Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry + Forklift experience in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment + Experience loading and unloading trailers + Basic written and verbal communication skills **Skill Education** + **Hilo experience:** Refers to operating Hilo forklifts which are used for lifting heavy materials. + **Basic computer skills:** Involves fundamental knowledge of using computers effectively including typing, file management, and basic troubleshooting. + **Outlook:** A Microsoft application used for managing emails, calendars, tasks, contacts. + **Excel:** A spreadsheet program from Microsoft used for data organization and analysis. + **Word:** A word processing program from Microsoft used for creating documents. **Pay Details:** $19.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
