Our client, a food distribution company with a focus on cold storage logistics, is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in El Monte, CA. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift in a cold storage environment to support daily warehouse operations and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a sit-down forklift to move, organize, and retrieve productsWork in cold storage areas with temperatures ranging from 32°F to -20°FPick products using system-generated orders or pick listsConduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any issuesEnsure accurate inventory tracking and product placementAssist with stock counts and inventory auditsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentCollaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflowCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a sit-down forkliftAbility to work in cold environments for extended periodsDependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focusedPrevious experience in warehouse, logistics, or cold storage preferred

Pay & Schedule:

$19.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experienceMonday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMOvertime available as needed
