Our client in the Lithia Springs, Georgia area is looking to hire a Forklift Operator for their location. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable with standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Responsibilities for this position include performing regular safety checks and operational inspections on forklift equipment (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher, etc.).

The Day-to-Day:

Transport pallet loads of product from the dock to the correct warehouse locations using a forklift.Replenish pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory availability.Secure pallets properly in their designated slots to prevent damage or injury during product selection.Record all instances of product damage, equipment issues, and warehouse incidents.Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris from aisles, floors, and racks.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaValid forklift certificationAbility to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and teamwork skills

Pay Rate:

$17.10 /hr

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM until finished)orTuesday to Friday (7:00 AM until finished)
