**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to arrange shipments, schedule pick-ups, and prepare shipping documents. The role also involves receiving shipments, verifying packages, inspecting materials, and assisting with returns or replacements. You will organize and store received items, maintain accurate records, assist with inventory control, and distribute merchandise. Additionally, you will operate forklifts, maintain storage areas, and use computers for orders and processing. **Responsibilities** + Arrange shipments and schedule pick-ups. + Prepare shipping documents. + Check and sign delivery slips, and unload deliveries. + Verify packages according to slips and purchase orders. + Inspect materials and assist with returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements. + Organize and store received items. + Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control in the stockroom. + Distribute items and adjust inventories. + Stage materials. + Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stage, and store materials. + Maintain storage areas, organize, and place stock on shelves. + Physically move parts and supplies. + Maintain accurate log sheets of inventory. + Operate computers for orders and processing, including WMS and internal inventory systems. **Essential Skills** + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up). + Proficient computer skills including WMS, internal inventory systems, and Microsoft Suite. + Ability to lift over 50 pounds. + Experience assisting on docks and in various departments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand tools, assembly, general labor, inspection, buffing, sanding, grinding, machine operation, packaging, and staging. + Construction and packing experience. **Why Work Here?** Candidates will gain US security clearance upon conversion, which comes with a pay increase. Additionally, employees are eligible for a monthly bonus of $200 for perfect attendance ($100 if one day is missed). **Work Environment** The work environment includes a production floor with various areas such as disassembly and reassembly of vehicles, a paint area, a weld shop, and an electrical shop. You will collaborate with groups of people, including leads and laborers, to complete jobs as a team. The showroom area for finished vehicles is neat and quiet, while the armor welding and cutting area is louder and dirtier. PPE requirements include steel toe shoes, jeans or work pants, and a shirt that can get dirty. Glasses and gloves are provided as needed.
