**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Material Handler responsible for receiving, unloading, storing, and distributing deliveries. This role also includes preparing goods for shipment, tracking and updating shipment statuses, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring safety and organization within the workspace. **Responsibilities** + Receive and unload freight, check for damaged goods, and verify quantity and quality. + Store and distribute deliveries, and restock items. + Prepare goods for shipment, including work in freezers, packing, affixing identifying information, and preparing shipping documents. + Track, trace, and update the status of shipments. + Maintain inventory records and keep a log sheet of daily moves. + Ensure safety, organization, and housekeeping within the workspace. + May receive, store, and ship hazardous materials, and assemble and move furniture. **Essential Skills** + Experience with warehouse operations, forklift operation, and material handling. + Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks. + Reliability and consistent attendance. + Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly. + Basic math skills for measuring. + Ability to work in a semi-cleanroom environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good tenure and advancement in prior career path. + Open to entry-level production candidates. **Why Work Here?** This company has been in business for 27 years and has never had to do any layoffs.
