What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator at a local lumber yard, treatment plant, and manufacturing facility:

Perform pre-shift equipment checks, report any problems, and safely operate material handling equipment.Operate equipment to load/unload materials from the Wet Pad, Treating Tram, trucks, rail cars, storage, or indoor/outdoor work areas.For advancement opportunities, train to assist with quality control (QC), lab work, or lumber-treating processes.Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might:

Have 1 year of forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certificationBe a team player and goal-orientedBe mechanically inclinedUnderstand basic math and inventory techniquesNeed to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, or carry loads up to 50lbs repetitively for the duration of your shift.
