Job Details:

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Schedule: 1st shift

Starting pay rate: $18.45/hr

This position is responsible for operating a forklift in Live Receiving while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered only for Forklift Operator Class IV positions. The Forklift Operator removes the full cages from Live Haul trailers and supplies the receiving conveyor as needed. The empty cages are removed from the discharge conveyor and loaded back onto the live haul trailers. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. The Dardanelle Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents.

Requirements

Must be able to work in outside temperatures ranging from extreme cold to hot and be exposed to exterior environment which may include rain, snow, wind, etc. Can be dusty, damp, and humid with a high concentration of allergens must have the ability to sit for 8 to 10 hours a day along with the ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop occasionally. Must be able to lift in excess of 40 lbs. and climb stairs occasionally. Able to drive forklift and become licensed preferred.

Applicants must have at least six months work history within a single employer within the last 12 months.

All other duties as assigned by all Supervisors or General Production Managers in the Further Processing area.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
