FORKLIFT TELESALES ASSISTANT **WoodwardBizMedia (A Division of WCI)** 1 Positions ID: 173713 Posted On 12/30/2024 **Job Overview** **Job Details** **Job Location** Woodward Biz Media - Dubuque, IA **Position Type** Part Time **Education Level** High School **Travel Percentage** None **Job Shift** Day **Job Category** Admin - Clerical **Description** **Overall Responsibilities:** 1. **Telesales:** Making enough calls to lead at least 40 high-quality phone conversations daily to secure Forklift demos for account executives. 2. **Scheduling:** Scheduling enough demo calls to have at least one demo per day in place for Forklift Account Executives using scheduling software. 3. **Customer Service:** Assures customers’ needs are met and concerns are addressed through timely response and internal customer service related to Forklift operations. 4. **Account Executive Support:** Provides support for sales-related duties related to Forklift-International with competency and confidentiality as directed by the Group Publisher. 5. **Participative Management:** Functions as an active participant in helping the Division achieve its goals and providing advice and counsel to the Group Publisher on Forklift matters through participatory management and teamwork. **Specific Responsibilities:** 1. **_Telesales_** – 1. Assist in securing appointments for prospective clients to demonstrate the Forklift platform. 2. Schedule demonstration appointments for account executives, including all scheduling inquiries, and resolve problems between clients and account executives. 3. Using Divisional software, existing prospective lists, industry-related publications, and online resources to help build prospective sales calling lists. 4. Document daily calls in HubSpot and Magazine Manager software. 2. **_Sales Support_** – 1. Maintain an efficient filing system using division software to document calls and appointments. 2. Assist with incoming phone calls and know when and whom to redirect the inquiries. 3. Maintain a professional office atmosphere and comply with a very high degree of confidentiality and punctuality dictated by this position. 4. Provide excellent customer service for any customer inquiry. 3. **_Participatory Management_** – 1. Work with the Group Publisher to help achieve goals and objectives, utilizing interactive skills to assist them on projects and suggesting and initiating ideas for improvements on current methods and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the operation. 2. Actively participates in the Great Game of Business. 4. **_Other duties as assigned by the Group Publisher_** **Qualifications** + **Behavior:** Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality and is trustworthy in all aspects of the job to ensure the integrity of the position served and the information handled. Excellent people skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and maintain a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and proficiently use modern office equipment. Excellent telephone skills and the ability to schedule appointments between the client and the account executive. + **Knowledge:** High school education with a 2 or 4-year degree. Experience in outbound calling is a plus. Knowledge of relevant software (Word, Excel, Magazine Manager, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Teams).
