Job Description:
This position is responsible for operating the Processing Facility mixing systems and verifying that all aspects of the formulation area are operating correctly. This position manages inventory transactions, maintains the performance of equipment and provides raw materials to the formulation department while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and verify the formulation of batches at the Cambria Processing Facility
Operate the Processing Facility mixing system, ensuring that all materials are weighed accurately and added to the mixer at the correct times
Verify that all material is approved for usage and pigments are correct
Physically dump and scan raw materials into bin locations
Perform accurate scanning to ensure correct inventory transactions
Complete required documentation for material usage, inventory, material scrap requests, etc.
Maintain a strong understanding of the mechanical operation of the formulation room
Assist maintenance in the troubleshooting and correction of mechanical systems and system problems
Work closely with Line Prep Operators to ensure the timely turnaround of line clean ups
Perform and document quality and safety checks as required
Perform preventative safety inspections on crane and forklift both daily and weekly
Operate an overhead crane and forklift to transport material
Move all quality approved material from the receiving area to storage locations via forklift
Complete and document quality checks as required
Handle chemicals
Keep work area clean and orderly
Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Formulation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Additional duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling
Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation

Physical Requirements:
Handle chemicals
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Push/pull 100 lbs.
Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions
Work in a non-climate controlled environment
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Bend over multiple times throughout shift
