Job Title: Formulator
Job Description

Develop solutions for customer requests using formulations of oils, liquid-based materials, and powders. Troubleshoot formulas and technical issues with instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and ICP. Assist in the R&D department with all aspects of product development, including sourcing raw materials.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with R&D scientists to conduct literature reviews, ingredient research, and feasibility studies.Optimize existing formulations for enhanced stability, bioavailability, and consumer acceptance.Conduct laboratory tests and stability studies to evaluate the performance and shelf-life of formulations.Ensure all formulations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Work closely with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to support product development and launch.Essential SkillsBachelors Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.3+ years of nutraceutical experience.Experience with formulation.Proficiency in HPLC, GC, and ICP.Experience with powders and liquids, particularly fish oils.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sourcing raw materials.Strong troubleshooting skills.Ability to conduct literature reviews and ingredient research.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.Work Environment

The work environment is flexible, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The R&D department is currently being built and consists of one manager, while the Quality department has about 20 people.
