**Job Title: Formulation Technician I** **Job Description: $26-$29hr DOE, M-F day shift** Assist higher-level group members in designing experiments, drafting protocols, troubleshooting equipment and processes, and gathering experimental data in lab notebooks consistent with company policy and good laboratory practices. Learn to assemble and present technical data to clients and colleagues. Assemble, disassemble, operate, and clean process equipment such as spray dryers, tablet presses, mills, roller compactors, fluid beds, hot melt extruders, and blenders. Perform routine powder and tablet characterization. Perform general maintenance on research development (RD) process and laboratory equipment as needed. **Preferred Skills** + GMP + Material Specialist + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel + Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations and solid dosage form unit operations + Mechanical aptitude + Effective written and verbal communication skills + Attention to detail + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Bend, Oregon. The Bend site consists of early phase clinical drug product formulation, development, and manufacture.
