Job Title: Formulation Technician
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Shift: 1st shift 7:00am to 3:30pm
Type: Contract, 6 months +
Pay: $23-$25/hour, depending upon experience

Qualifications:

AS or BS degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences with relevant experience desired. .Formulations experience with Liquid or solid formulation Experience weighing chemicals and raw materials Perform conversion calculations- mg/ml to Kg/l Measure aqueous solutions Prior batch making experience in Food, Pharma or Chemical industries. Experience/knowledge with Formulation sheet.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain production area in a clean & orderly manner consistent with GMP's Handle Biological Materials and Hazardous materials Performs tank clean out, sterilization and maintenance Prepare glassware, filters & any other production materials needed for production runs. Able to follow production schedules for production runs. Follow and execute quality procedures. Operates centrifuges, filtration equipment, pH meter, balances, mixers Enter data into enterprise managing software, SAP or equivalent experience preferred
