Job Title: FormulatorJob Description Develop solutions for customer requests using formulations of oils, liquid-based materials, and powders. Troubleshoot formulas and technical issues with instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and ICP. Assist in the R&D department with all aspects of product development, including sourcing raw materials. Responsibilities + Collaborate with R&D scientists to conduct literature reviews, ingredient research, and feasibility studies. + Optimize existing formulations for enhanced stability, bioavailability, and consumer acceptance. + Conduct laboratory tests and stability studies to evaluate the performance and shelf-life of formulations. + Ensure all formulations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. + Work closely with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to support product development and launch. Essential Skills + Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. + 3+ years of nutraceutical experience. + Experience with formulation. + Proficiency in HPLC, GC, and ICP. + Experience with powders and liquids, particularly fish oils. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with sourcing raw materials. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Ability to conduct literature reviews and ingredient research. + Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards. Work Environment The work environment is flexible, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The R&D department is currently being built and consists of one manager, while the Quality department has about 20 people.
