Position Summary: To support the financial operation of Springbrook’s Foundation in carrying out its mission and goals. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts. • Prepare journal entries, analyze and reconcile accounts. • Assist with the monthly close process. • Process/review documentation related to gifts/pledges, accounts payable, and investments. • Grant management and tracking, ensuring compliance and accuracy. • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. • Respond to information requests, review financial statement activity, and assist with audits. • Ensure compliance with GAAP. • Support the Directors of Giving and Grants. • All other duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business or related field required. • Foundation accounting experience, preferably 3 or more years. • Knowledge of foundation accounting principles, FASB preferred. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Mathematical and deductive reasoning. • Expertise in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills. • Oracle NetSuite and Virtuous experience preferred. • Strong numeracy and analytical skills. • Good problem-solving and time management skills. • Highly organized and attention to detail a must. • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles. • Ability to lift 50 pounds Springbrook is an equal opportunity employer.
