Contribute to Sanford Health Foundation fundraising strategy while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Job Description

Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.

Primary responsibilities will include assisting in annual giving efforts in partnership with the Sanford Health Foundation Development Officer. This includes developing strategy and tactics for the successful planning and execution of the Blueway Invitational golf tournament and Blueway Gala, the Bismarck region's signature events. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the Foundation's employee giving initiative and grateful patient program. Exposure to major and planned giving, as well as, development operations and leadership will be provided for a well-rounded experience of healthcare philanthropy.

Qualifications

Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.

Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
