Founding Crypto Engineer – Smart Contracts & Backend

Seeking an exceptional founding crypto-experienced engineer to maintain traditional backend architecture and develop smart contracts/onchain data tools.

Responsibilities Build and interact with web2 and web3 APIs, backend databases, and servers for coordinating requests. Own the development of contracts, oversee auditing processes, and build off best-in-class public contracts/protocols (e.g., UniswapX, Across architecture). Innovate on intent standards, potentially collaborating with other protocols or leveraging existing ones. Shape the onchain and decentralization roadmap—optimistic verification, ZK-coprocessors for data feeds into contracts, validator design. Ship fast, usable code with a focus on iterative growth rather than lengthy sprints. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in engineering roles at web3 organizations involving production-level development OR exceptional internships/projects. Solid understanding of relevant technologies (familiar with intents, previous onchain data work, etc.). Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, Go, and/or other popular web3 frameworks. Comfortable with traditional backend languages, tools, and DevOps (Python, Django, Postgres, AWS, Celery, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Rust, Go).
