Livewell Urgent Care will serve as a crucial link between standard veterinary practices and emergency/overnight care facilities in the Shoreview area. Your 3,000 square-foot hospital will be located in the Shoreview Retail Shopping Center on 1021 Red Fox Road and is estimated to open in Q2, 2025. Site selection for a general practice hospital in the greater Minneapolis area is underway with an estimated open date of Q3, 2025 If you are an experienced veterinarian with an appetite for professional and/or financial growth, have strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and are passionate about high-quality care and client experience - this is the perfect opportunity for you! Opportunity Highlights No negative accrual in the first 6 months Significant incentives in line with the growth of the hospital, unlimited earning potential Influence the direction and build-out of a veterinary hospital Partnership and investment with no out-of-pocket expenses https://amazingtogether.svp.vet/livewell/ Partner & Lead Veterinarian Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Minnesota 4+ years of experience as a veterinarian required Leadership/management experience is a plus Have the ability to lead the team through a variety of cases Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients Comfortable providing (and teaching associate veterinarians) general surgery and dentistry procedures Partner & Lead Veterinarian Responsibilities Build a strong client-first and collaborative practice culture Hire hospital staff to include; hospital manager, veterinary technician, and other hospital support staff in partnership with SVP talent acquisition and operational support teams Deliver excellent patient care and ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices Ensure doctors effectively communicate physical examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment plan, and educate clients on preventative care Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and keep necessary logs up-to-date Monitor associate doctor performance and stay up-to-date with changes in veterinary medicine through continuing education Assist in developing the paraprofessional team to deliver quality care and exceptional client service Ensure all staff treat clients and patients with care and respect. Partner with the Hospital Manager in managing hospital financial performance Positively represent the hospital in the professional and local community Partner & Lead Veterinarian Benefits Veterinarians are guaranteed their base salary, regardless of production, and never owe money at the end of the year.
