Foundry Maintenance Mechanic

Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.​ $2000 Sign-on Bonus Available** We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and apply skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provide experienced mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing. As the Maintenance Mechanic, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. You will apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and restore operational efficiency. Reporting to the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor, you will help support manufacturing operations. You Will: + Plan and execute work requiring knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles, specifications, and local and national codes. + Install, start up, and shut down equipment in compliance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment performance. + Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic instruments and tools. + Collaborate with operators and team members to resolve issues and improve overall operational performance. You Have: + High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training preferred. + 3+ years of experience in electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, demonstrating high proficiency in these areas. + Millwright, heavy equipment, or aerospace experience preferred. + Strong understanding of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including diagnostic tools. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicating with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting. + Flexibility to work other shifts and overtime as needed. + High precision in work with minimum tolerances preferred. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
