Join our growing finance team as a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst. You will work closely with the Head of Financial Planning and Reporting to ensure accurate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the group. Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at the Support Centre to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.


Located at Junction 41 in Wakefield, with a flexible, hybrid work model, colleagues are expected to work in the office for a minimum of two to three days per week, with additional attendance as required. Role Responsibility Assist in preparing the annual budget, twice-yearly reforecasts, and long-term financial plansSupport the creation of monthly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports, identifying trends, risks, and opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong cross-business relationships to provide financial insightsDevelop financial models, perform variance analysis, and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Analyse financial data to offer actionable insights for senior management and stakeholdersContribute to scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for decision-makingAssist with business case evaluations, investment appraisals, and cost-benefit analysesSupport financial integration of new business initiatives and acquisitionsConduct ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as neededContinuously improve reporting processes and systems for better efficiency and data quality The Ideal Candidate Final stage/newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or strong QBEFP&A or management accounting experience, ideally in retailProficient in financial modelling and analysisAdvanced Excel and financial systems skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilitiesDetail-oriented, able to meet deadlines under pressureProactive with a continuous improvement mindset About the Company
