Your New Role…

As the OPEX FP&A Analyst, you work within the Global OPEX COE which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the financial processes related to OPEX spend.

Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting and analysis of the Opex costs related to Music Rights. You will support the business partners in decision making and provide required reporting to senior business and FP&A stakeholders.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Validating invoices, creating POs and preparing manual accruals in line with expected spendGathering data and preparing different fee calculation models to support legal team with negotiations processAnalyzing the financial impact of negotiated contractsPreparation of recurrent reporting to various Music societies in line with contractual requirementsSupporting the month end process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis focusing on Music Rights expensesPerforming detailed reviews of Music Rights actual spendSummarizing key findings to support discussions and decisions which aim to improve business unit / regional profitabilityAssisting in the production of the monthly cost forecast submission and updating of related systemsSupporting the annual budget process, including the critical review of planning assumptions and the creation and analysis of business casesProviding insight of financial performance through accurate, timely and relevant reportingInterpretation and clear communication of results, reports and analysis

Qualifications & Experience…

2+ years of working experience preferably with experience in Accounting/FP&A departmentUnderstanding of forecasting and budgeting processGeneral accounting knowledge (accruals, prepayments, costs recognition, accounts reconciliation)CA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress desiredExcellent analytical skills and key to detailsStrong MS Excel & PowerPoint skillsClear, concise verbal and written communication.Assured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plus.Pro-active and hands-onStrong IT affinity to drive required digital agenda in FP&A (EPM ie. Hyperion, SAP BPC, SAP Analysis, BI tools ie. Power BI).
