Overall responsibilities and duties:
The FP&A and Central Division Controller oversees implementation of controlling basics, providing a consolidated view of the operational performance of the division, interacting with the plant, R&D finance and Commercial team from Division
The main missions of the role are:
Consolidation and reporting:
Ensure the coordination of financial forecasting process for plants and Tech Center (budget, periodic forecasts, Mid Term Plan)
Lead all tasks related to month end closing.
Provide a consolidated view of operations results and communicate it to the division.
Provide operational financial communication & recommendation towards the management, especially Division Controller
Analyze and challenge the variances between the forecasted and actual results.
Determine and ensure the follow up and monitor the consolidated margin per program in liaise with program controlling.
Validate the economic justification of investments and ensure their follow up
Validate the economic justification of standard costs and rates used in each plant.
Ensure the consistency between production indicators and financial reporting.
Participate in the development of action plans and ensure their financial evaluation and follow up
Highlight cash status at division level (capex, inventories, overdues)
Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings,) and internal control basics.
Alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies.
Support Cash Control implementation throughout the division
Commercial support
Be the link between finance community and Commercial teams to align on action plans.
Participate in follow up discussions for commercial items with BG and region maintaining constant and clear communication.
Supervise the squeeze reporting ensuring alignment with actual and expected P&L results.
Others
Ensure consistency and standardization of controlling processes within the division.
Manage and support the Operations Controlling teams on all financial issues.
Contribute to internal and external Audits requirements
Ensure all financial related procedures and tools are implemented and followed.
Ensure plant and R&D controlling teams are informed and trained to controlling procedures and policies and tools.

Qualifications:
Minimum education level: Business School or Engineering background with a Finance or master’s degree in Finance
Experience:
+3 years of controlling professional experience
Plant controlling experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Good accounting knowledge
Business minded and strong teamwork sense.
Knowledge in SAP and Magritte/Hyperion
Good communication skills
Fluent in English required.
