Description We are offering a project-based contract opportunity a skilled FP& A Consultant in Glen Rock, New Jersey. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the financial planning and analysis processes of a private-equity owned business. This role focuses on creating efficient structures for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to aid strategic decision-making and improve financial performance visibility. Responsibilities • Design and implement a structured annual budgeting process to align with strategic goals • Create adaptable budget templates for various business units, initiatives, or departments • Develop dynamic financial forecasting models for rapid scenario analysis and sensitivity testing • Introduce rolling forecasting mechanisms that incorporate real-time business and market data • Create actionable financial reports focusing on variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) • Perform in-depth weighted average cost of capital (WACC) analysis factoring in industry benchmarks • Refine budgets and forecasts continuously based on operational performance, market trends, and business priorities • Develop automated and efficient rolling weekly cash flow reporting processes • Collaborate with treasury teams to integrate debt payment schedules, funding needs, and project streams into cash flow planning • Automate reporting workflows to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
