Job Description

Purpose

The FP&A Manager is responsible for the planning and control activities relating to the consolidated P&L of the EMEA group, including coordinating with the US head office and managing the Global consolidation activities. The role is also directly responsible for the budget planning, forecasting and cost management of the SG&A lines, including marketing,  and ensuring that all area of spent are kept within budget. Finally, the role is responsible for all financial reporting not directly related to commercial performance, and for managing the budget calendar.

Responsibilities

Oversees the whole Financial Planning and Reporting process for the EMEA group,  coordinating the periodical closeResponsible for P&L forecasting, loading into group consolidation tools and explanation of results to the US head office. This requires co-ordination across ops and commercial finance colleagues and business partners, as well as explaining performance to the Executive Leadership Team and US board. (Board deck)Co-ordination of the annual planning process, including setting and managing to deadlines, preparation of consolidated results and working with the Finance & IT Director EMEA to prepare the annual business plan for presentation to the US board.Consolidation and ownership of the monthly reporting process, including preparation of the monthly performance dashboards for all business units.(Townhall deck)Collecting information related to Cash Flow forecasting, including driving improvements in debtor and creditor forecasts, and updating the cash flow statement and working capital forecastsCost management and reporting of the SG&A cost lines, including the marketing budget.  This includes creating and driving a performance management cycle for overheads and ensuring that clear and timely reporting is available to cost center managers on a monthly basis. Responsible for correct budgeting and forecasting of all SG&A costs, including payroll and calculation of variable pay/LTIP, as well as workforce planning. Responsible for maintaining all EMEA managed accruals (LTIP, Variable Pay, Severance, Projects etc)Business partner to the Marketing Director, Liaising closely with the marketing team in order to manage forecasts for the spend, analyze variances and trends and ensure zero deviation from budget across brand and geographic teams.Managing 1 FTEEmbraces the Jack Link’s culture, incorporating its values into every day work life, acting as a culture ambassador and brand steward.

Qualifications

Education and experience

Master Degree or Qualified AccountantMinimum 5-7 years of experience in relevant positions in finance, of which 3 in a FP&A related role 

Skills

FP&A experience, including building forecasts, designing reports and generating analysisHighly numerate with proven analytical capabilitiesAble to produce high quality, accurate output under tight timescalesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships with key internal clientsSolid Excel skills and experience of SAP (or any other ERP system)Good financial reporting and modelling skillsLanguage skills: Fluent professional English
