FP&A Senior Commercial Analyst

About the role: 

 

The Senior Analyst, Commercial FP&A is responsible for the preparation and analysis of accurate financial data (plans, forecasts, latest estimates, monthly reports etc.) and initial variance analysis & support as well as the resolution of ad-hoc requests and analysis on all financial aspects of the business. This position involves close collaboration with many internal stakeholders.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Create, consolidate and present financial reports to management or other members of the finance function in order to support with business planning and business control within the organization Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various departments, being actively involved in the planning process Develop analysis and management reports to support decision-making processes (e.g. KPI report, operations report, quarterly finance report) Proactively investigate automation opportunities and coordinate their realization with IT from idea to go-live and testing Identify and provide insights into movement between actuals, forecasts, prior year, latest estimates and budget, along with supporting variance analyses Support ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis requirements Present periodic performance result Maintain compliance with processes and procedures, recommend corrective action when identified and maintain suitable records to demonstrate compliance Coordinate and distribute work to FP&A junior analysts in other BC locations

 

 

About you:

 

5+ years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A and/or Reporting with obligatory accounting understanding Degree in Accounting or Finance Proficiency in English, both written and oral Data analytics and reporting skills Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools Good operational knowledge of MS Office software with advanced Excel skills (Tables, Pivot Tables, lookups variants) Experience with BI tools, SAP and Business Warehouse preferred
