FP & A Sr. Lead Analyst (Hybrid)
The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi’s current and projected performance. **Responsibilities:** + Lead creation of Citi financial reports and liaise with finance teams to provide a summary of financial trends and insight to senior management + Lead analysis of forecasts, strategic and operating plans, and create monthly outlooks in partnership with segment, business, and country financial planning and analysis teams + Prepare analytics in support of CEO Reviews including business initiatives + Lead analysis of Citigroup’s product profitability + Develop relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making + Prepare presentations and analysis for the team and in support of the CFO + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + 10+ years of relevant experience + Experience within financial services + Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets + Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint + Knowledge in additional systems including Oracle, Essbase, and SAP + Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master’s degree preferred The role involves managing critical processes within EDS function for Services FP&A including Quarterly Earnings, Quarterly Business Reviews, External Conferences, OCC reviews, Competition benchmarking including Coalition, Managing Score Cards for senior business stakeholders, Investor day as well as in the Annual Planning process. The key responsibilities for this role include the following: 1. Driving the quarter end monitoring and estimation of revenues 2. Designing the content for reviews with senior management – including CFO/ CEO review materials, materials for IR in answering anticipated questions, themes capturing the latest macro economic trends like changes in interest rates, changes to money supply etc. across processes (Quarterly Earnings, Quarterly Business Reviews, External Conferences, OCC reviews, Competition benchmarking including Coalition, Managing Score Cards for senior business stakeholders, Investor day as well as in the Annual Planning process) 3. Articulating drivers of variances across Revenue, Balance sheet, Expenses – linking period over period changes to underlying drivers like changes in transaction volumes, deposit & loan balances, pricing changes etc. 4. Partnership with team members across locations (Including Mumbai & CR) within Services FP&A for execution 5. Collaboration with various stakeholders across CFO teams, Corporate FP&A, Business, IR, teams throughout the process 6. Drafting, reviewing and validating externally disclosed information about the performance of Services business 7. Competition benchmarking including Coalition process 8. Managing Services Score Card process for senior business stakeholders 9. Implement effective and required risk & control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of all deliverables 10.
