Job Title: FPGA Design Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lab testing, FPGA design and verification, debugging FPGA issues, and implementing micro-architecture for new product features. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects with a promising future.

ResponsibilitiesConduct lab tests, including component characterization and reporting.Design and verify FPGAs using Verilog/VHDL.Optimize FPGA code to minimize resource usage.Verify FPGAs using the latest tools.Debug FPGA issues on hardware platforms.Invent, document, and implement micro-architecture and design details for new product features.Perform physical implementation in FPGA targets for emulation, timing closure, and debugging.Integrate processor-based SOC for target ASIC or FPGA.Essential SkillsProficiency in VHDL, RTL, and ModelSim.Expertise in VHDL RTL coding and verification.Experience with test procedures and test benches.Familiarity with physical verification and power design.Professional experience with hardware-based integration and test of ASIC/FPGA designs.Proven record of working with ASIC/FPGA design and verification teams.Experience with hardware emulators.Proficiency in hardware verification languages such as System Verilog and System Verilog Assertions.Ability to create test plans and reusable testbenches.Experience developing Functional Coverage Models and Closing Code Coverage.Knowledge of revision control systems such as SVN, CVS, and Git.Experience with Xilinx FPGA tools (Vivado, Vitis, HLS), embedded software development, and FPGA logic design (VHDL/Verilog).Familiarity with Ethernet networking, data interfaces, and Xilinx architecture/platforms.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience developing FPGA designs for flight hardware is a plus.Strong teamwork, organization, autonomous work, and project management skills.Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to be onsite for training and the initial few weeks. Depending on project needs, candidates must be in the office a minimum of three days per week, with the possibility of more frequent onsite presence as required by the department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00
