Job Description
We are seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer with expertise in Xilinx FPGA programming using Verilog. The role involves working on video conversion, including 4K video, down converting, up converting, and HDR. You will handle all aspects of 4K video and audio, including USB integration in armrests to play 4K video on aircraft AVDS products. The ideal candidate should be able to read schematics, and understand hardware layout, although hardware design will not be required. The position will focus on existing development projects with future opportunities for new development.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Xilinx FPGAs using Verilog.Perform video conversion, including 4K video, down converting, up converting, and HDR.Handle all aspects of 4K video and audio.Integrate USB in armrests to play 4K video on aircraft AVDS products.Manage video input and output processes.Read and understand schematics and hardware layout.Work on existing development projects with potential future opportunities for new development.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience in FPGA engineering.Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL.Experience with Xilinx FPGAs.Experience in video and audio processing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with video and audio technologies.Ability to wear multiple hats and contribute to various aspects of the product lifecycle.
Compensation Range: $60-$75/hr
