Fpga Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our staff in support of a cutting edge ISR sensors for airborne missions. This person will be a critical member of the team as we go from developing the prototypes to developing a manufactured sensor that will be going into theatre.

Responsibilities:

•\tUnder guidance from senior staff, implement algorithms and interfaces in FPGAs

•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications as they relate to assigned tasking

•\tCreating and maintaining design documentation and test plans

•\tNear term tasking may be related to RF systems for airborne applications, but you may be tasked on other applications as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience:

•\t5+ Years of experience with FPGA and SoC design entry using Verilog or VHDL

•\tExperience with design flow for Xilinx and/or Intel FPGAs

•\tExperience with simulation tools such as ModelSim/Questa, VCS, or Incisive

•\tDemonstrated experience in delivery of advanced development hardware

•\tExperience in preparing and delivering briefings, familiarity with the execution of technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS)

•\tBackground should include a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering

Nice to have:

•\tUnderstanding of and experience with RF systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.

•\tActive Secret or Top Secret security clearance

•\tDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, physics modeling and simulation

•\tExperience with Matlab, Python, or C/C++

•\tExperience with interfacing to high speed DACs and ADCs

•\tExperience with Digital Signal Processing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00
