FPGA Engineer
Job Title: FPGA / Hardware Engineer We are seeking an FPGA / Hardware Engineer to support work in the defense and aerospace industry. This engineer will design and develop custom high-speed digital signal-processing cards and firmware for next-generation precision tracking radars and radar cross section (RCS) measurement systems. The work will require someone to be onsite and local to Columbus, OH. Responsibilities + Capture design requirements. + Design and develop digital subsystems. + Perform VDHL/Verilog firmware development. + Collaborate with embedded software engineers to develop architectures. + Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing. + Generate product documentation (Interface Control Documents, theory of operation, etc.). Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar. + 3+ years of professional working experience with Xilinx FPGA development. + 3+ years of professional working experience with VDHL or Verilog programming. + Experience with MPSoC or RFSoC development Work Environment The role requires being in the office Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, offering flexibility outside those hours as long as an 8-hour day is completed. There is potential for a hybrid work arrangement in the future, but initially, full onsite presence is required for training and team collaboration. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
