Free People is looking for an Allocator who will maximize sales and profit through allocation and business analysis to achieve financial objectives.
Role Responsibilities Meeting or exceeding sales and inventory goalsAllocating for one or more product classResponsible for store sales and inventory plans for assigned merchandise categoriesAnalyzing sales to stock ratios and product flow management-new purchase order and back stock allocationsEnsuring the right product is delivered to stores at the right timeIdentifying opportunities and risks, recognizing trends by product category and attribute at the individual store and store group levelPartnering with planning to run size and color selling analysis to place future size and color buysCollaborating with planning and buying to relate current store performance to impact upcoming buysPrepping for and participating in monthly reforecast, strategy, buy meetings, and division rollCommunicating with distribution center as necessaryPartnering with the visual team and participating in weekly turnover meetingsCommunicating weekly with DM’s about current businessCollaborating with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge
Role Qualifications Minimum 2 years allocation experience High Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical skills measuring key retail metricsStrong capacity for multi-tasking with an operational mindsetAbility to prioritize and maintain a high level of accuracy completing multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.Strong communication skillsOpen to constructive feedbackTeam-oriented & collaborativeOrganized, with a strong attention to detail
