Position Overview:

Do you love working outside? Do you love the water? Do you love boating?

As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club Operations team, the dockside Fleetio Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and performs light maintenance on our fleet of vessels, while assisting with executing the day-to-day operations of the Club. We are looking for customer-focused friendly and upbeat individuals. This position is full-time and requires availability on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions:

Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on vesselsOwn the process of entering and updating the Fleetio softwareFollow all company policies and proceduresMaintain confidentiality of proprietary informationWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standardsAnticipate and address guests' service needsSpeak with others using clear and professional languageMake and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquetteSupport team to reach common goalsComply with quality assurance expectations and standardsPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Required Qualifications:

Pass a background check and drug screenValid driver’s license and good driving recordHigh school diplomaAt least 21 years of ageHigh attention to detailAbility to utilize a tablet and the Fleetio softwareProven experience using applicationsVision adequate to read / manipulate handheld computer tabletsAbility to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activityHighly effective communication skills and friendly customer serviceMust be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervisedMaintain a clean work areaAdhere to all safety policiesMaintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees

Preferred Qualifications:

Fleet maintenance backgroundBoating experience in and around boats

Working Conditions:

Work outside in the state’s elements and stand for an extended period of timeLocal travel requiredWork in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floating Work near and on the water Safely move on, off and in vessels during various tide and weather conditions 

The anticipated pay rate for this position is $14/hr.
