CodeMonkey is seeking a talented freelancer to create engaging content for our upcoming high school computer science courses: Game Design with JavaScript and Introduction to AI. You will work closely with our curriculum team to design lesson materials, develop exercises, and ensure that students have a hands-on, interactive learning experience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the curriculum team to develop course blueprints, including defining learning objectives and the overall structure for each course. Create high-quality lesson content aligned with course objectives. Develop exercises and write thoughtful review questions for each lesson. Design quizzes to assess students' understanding of key topics. Ensure content is engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with standards.Requirements:
Proficiency in JavaScript: Strong command of JavaScript programming (required for the Game Design course). AI Knowledge: Familiarity with foundational AI concepts and applications (required for the AI course). Experience in coding education: Familiarity with teaching or explaining coding fundamentals (preferred but not required). Educational background: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is an advantage. Self-management: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills: Excellent ability to articulate concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with a team.About CodeMonkey
