We’re hiring a Freelance Director of Lifecycle Marketing (Contract). This is a short-term, contract position that works full-time hours. This role is based in New York, NY with flexibility for remote work.

How you’ll contribute to our mission Conduct a thorough audit of our current lifecycle marketing efforts across email, SMS, and other relevant channels. Develop a strategic long-term roadmap to enhance user engagement and retention. Offer insights on segmentation, personalization, and automation opportunities. Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and strategies to support lifecycle marketing initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders across marketing, product, and analytics teams to align on goals and priorities. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner. You’re ready for this! Here’s a bit more about what we’re looking for 8-10 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, demonstrating leadership in developing and scaling effective strategies Significant experience in lifecycle marketing, with expertise in strategy, analysis, and execution. Strong track record of driving user engagement and retention through lifecycle programs. Experience auditing and optimizing complex marketing ecosystems. Knowledge of email marketing platforms and automation tools, bonus for experience with Sailthru, Segment.io, and/or Braze. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform recommendations. Exceptional communication skills to share findings and align teams. Deep experience with subscription-based or media businesses is a plus. A collaborative and proactive approach, ready to hit the ground running.This is a short-term, contract position from March 1 through April 30. The expected rate for this role is $7,500 each month. We’ll consider a variety of factors when determining the offered base salary including an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, abilities, experience, location, market demands, and internal parity.
About the officeThis is a short-term, contract position that is full-time. This role is based in New York, NY with flexibility for remote work.
Our office is available to use three days a week — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We have a hybrid environment and ask that full-time employees within the New York Metro area come together in person two days a week. All other days are up to the discretion of the employees during the days that the office will be open.
