Job Description As a Logistics Coordinator, you will manage internal truck requests from six branches across the United States, negotiate rates with carriers and freight brokers, and book loads using various transportation methods. You will track and trace loads, providing updates and ETAs to both internal and external customers. Additionally, you will address delays, issues, and concerns, problem-solving to meet time requirements and maximize profit by finding the most cost-effective transportation solutions. You will also manage the carrier base and dispatch loads efficiently. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field, strong negotiation and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, proficiency in using transportation management systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented focus on maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
