Job Details:
Pay is $17.85 per hour.

SCHEDULE IS 1st Shift 8AM to 5 PM.
Shift times and days may vary depending on production needs.
Weekend work and holiday work will be required at times.
*REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 181 DAY WAIT PERIOD, determined from their last date of employment, to apply for FOOD SERVICE.
*REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 91 DAY WAIT PERIOD, determined from their last date of employment, to apply for FRESH PLANT.
*CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 3 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE.
*The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
1. Must be able to work in cool/damp area.
2. Use of hands and fingers to pick-up product and make proper cut.
3. All other duties assigned by management or group leaders. (Could possibly be put on line to hang/grade birds)
1. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work area.
2. Must be able to use a gripping motion with hand to pick-up product and use knife to make cuts.
3. Must be able to stand duration of shift. (Usually 8 hours with breaks)
4. Bending, twisting, and turning body from side to side to see and keep up product in work area.
5. Must have good hand/eye coordination.
III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITION.
1. Gloves and water/skid proof footwear.
2. Knife
3. Must wear required PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and/or beard guard.
