YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Strategist with expertise in commercial strategy and a passion for creating sustainable business value. In this role, you will partner with clients across various industries to shape and implement net zero strategies that support their journey toward carbon neutrality. You’ll work cross-functionally with designers, technologists, and industry experts to create solutions that are environmentally sound, economically viable, and aligned with clients’ business objectives.
As part of Capgemini Invent and frog’s Sustainable Futures group, you’ll be at the forefront of helping clients reimagine what is possible at the intersection of sustainability and business growth. In this role you will play a key role in:
· Commercial and Net Zero Strategy Development: You will work with clients, developing growth strategies infused with sustainable opportunities and helping clients integrate sustainable practices that deliver business value and environmental impact.
· Lead Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analyses to identify trends, white space opportunities, and potential partnership areas that can drive growth in net zero and sustainable business initiatives.
· Innovative Problem Solving: Apply creative thinking to uncover gaps and identify sustainable opportunities, developing strategic recommendations that align environmental goals with commercial growth.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside designers, data scientists, and sustainability experts to transform strategic insights into actionable, data-driven solutions and experiences.
· Business Development and Relationship Building: Cultivate and expand client relationships, proactively contributing to Capgemini Invent’s growth in the sustainability sector.
· Thought Leadership in Sustainability: Stay at the forefront of sustainability and climate technology trends, contributing to thought leadership within the industry and Capgemini Invent.
YOUR PROFILE
Our ideal candidate possesses the following:
• Proven Strategic Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial strategy with demonstrated experience in business development, account growth, or client relationship management in sustainability, net zero planning, or a related field with 5 years of experience in consulting or industry.
• Analytical and Financial Capabilities: Proven ability to conduct complex market research and competitive analysis, translating insights into strategic recommendations and identifying new business opportunities. Skilled in financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the commercial impact of sustainability initiatives and build compelling business cases for sustainable growth.
• Collaboration and Relationship-Building: A team player who excels in cross-functional collaboration and has a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Passion for Sustainability: A deep commitment to driving change and making a measurable impact in advancing sustainability practices.Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Business, Engineering); an advanced degree such as an MBA is nice to have.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $125,000 to $185,000.This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
