Check out this video for more information on our great company! Location Description Edith Macy Center is a conference center located in Briarcliff Manor, New York, 45 minutes from Manhattan. Edith Macy Center has more than 14,000 square feet of indoor conference space, 58 sleeping rooms, and we are situated among 405 wooded acres in the heart of Westchester County. Overview Edith Macy Center is looking for an outgoing Front Desk Agent to work the 3pm-11pm shift. This position is part-time and will include weekends. Hourly pay is $19-$21, depending on experience. Driving our company vans and handling luggage are an essential function of this position. What You'll Do: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression. Transport guests in vehicles and provide luggage assistance. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction. Manage reservations, answer guest inquiries, and address complaints promptly. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Provide accurate information about the hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities. Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. Promote teamwork and contribute to a friendly, safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Applicants MUST have: 1yr. min. of hotel experience. Previous experience in Maestro is preferred. A valid, clean driver's license. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Accounting experience is helpful Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. EOE Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $21.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
