Elite Day Center of Greer is looking for a front desk receptionist who will serve as the initial point of contact for our organization. This role involves warmly welcoming guests and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and appreciated, while directing them to the appropriate areas. Responsibilities include managing front desk operations, handling mail distribution to various departments, providing accurate information and/or redirect inquiries as needed. Additionally, the receptionist will maintain door security by monitoring members' attempts to exit the center and perform clerical tasks as assigned by the administrator or management team, such as documenting daily member activities and assisting potential new hires with application paperwork and notifying the relevant department manager.
Secondary Job Requirements
Completion of assigned documents, from DC, HC, Transport, HR or other departments or supervisors
Maintain photos of all new Members, Manage Photo & Outing Consents of Members
Update DHEC readiness book with activity calendars each month
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable and other assigned areas in the center
Maintain professional attitude and appearance
Maintain Emergency Contact/Elopement Book with accurate Member Face sheets
Other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old with High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
- Previous experience working with elderly and/or disabled population preferred
-Strong communication, people service skills & pleasant personality (Required)
-Previous reception, front office work (preferred)
- Must have reliable transportation & valid drivers license
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Must pass background check and drug test
- Must be physically able and willing to assist day center members with personal care tasks as needed
This is a full time hourly position, weekly pay
Monday-Friday
8am-4:00pm
No Weekends or Holidays
