Front Desk Coordinator
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in Rockville, Maryland. This job is in the industry of administration and involves a range of responsibilities from customer service to administrative tasks. The work environment requires a highly organized individual who can efficiently handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and maintain records. Responsibilities: • Greeting guests and directing them to the appropriate location or person • Handling inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner • Efficiently checking in guests and maintaining an organized visitor log • Using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to manage data and correspondence • Providing top-notch customer service by resolving customer inquiries promptly • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed • Conducting necessary runs for supplies as required • Scheduling appointments using a systematic approach • Ensuring the front desk area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times • Assisting in other administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth office operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word • Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls • Excellent customer service skills • Strong data entry skills • Ability to manage email correspondence effectively • Experience in scheduling appointments • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
