The Front Desk Coordinator at Universal Technical Institute is the welcoming face and brand ambassador for our vibrant community. Your role involves creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for campus visitors and handling details efficiently to foster strong relationships. As the first point of contact, you'll be responsible for meeting prospective students, managing phone inquiries, and handling various clerical duties.
Our ideal candidate:
Has a friendly and approachable demeanor who can easily establish a rapport with visitors - including potential students, families, UTI colleagues, and industry partners.Can handle visitor inquiries, concerns, and requests in a proactive and professional manner.Able to work collaboratively with team members to address any issues promptly and effectively.What we offer
Pay range of $18 - $20 per hour. This is a full-time role (40 hrs/week) with benefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Benefits and Disability/Income protectionPaid sick time and holidays off FREE Tuition for your immediate family at any of UTI's campuses for the skilled trades programs Responsibilities Greet visitors, have all individuals register at the Front Desk, and direct visitors to appropriate staff membersAnswer all incoming lines in a prompt, professional manner, and efficiently route to the proper departmentProvide excellent customer service to external and internal customers. Provide administrative support to a variety of staff such as the Campus Visit & Event Supervisor, Campus Admissions Manager and to other departments such as Corporate Office Admission (as needed). Assist with campus events such as Open House, Orientation, Graduation, etc. QualificationsEducation / Experience
High School diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in an in-person customer service or guest relations role requiredPrevious experience with multi-line phone system strongly preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office softwareExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and highly visible environmentBilingual skills a plus!
Work Environment
