Front Desk Coordinator
Description We are recruiting for the role of a Front Desk Coordinator based in Santa Clara, California. This role functions within the industry and is entirely on-site. The Front Desk Coordinator will be part of a team and will be responsible for various tasks including administrative duties and coordinating with vendors. Responsibilities: • Handle the process of printing and issuing employee badges, ensuring proper access control • Facilitate communication with vendors, including managing vendor relationships • Oversee the delivery and distribution of department mail to various departments • Perform receptionist duties, including responding to inquiries and providing assistance • Assist in maintaining and restocking the kitchen as required • Support administrative tasks and clerical duties as part of the daily operations • Coordinate catering requests for the team and manage purchase orders • Ensure a smooth operation of the front desk and provide a warm and welcoming environment • Maintain a high level of organization to ensure efficient operations • Leverage technical skills to handle various software and systems. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Applicant must have at least one year of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in managing department mail and delivering mail is required • Experience with receptionist duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments is necessary • Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively • Experience with access control systems is a plus • Must be capable of restocking supplies and maintaining inventory • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential • Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education level • Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office is desirable • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor under pressure is required • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
