Front Desk Coordinator
Description WEEKEND GRAVEYARD SHIFTS. We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator for our organization within the housing industry. The position is located in Olympia, Washington, 98501, United States. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the initial contact for all residents, clients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a detail-oriented and organized front office environment. You will also manage client inquiries, arrange transportation needs, deliver messages and packages, and oversee the reception area. Responsibilities: • Manage the front office reception by answering incoming calls, granting access to clients, guests, and visitors. • Arrange transportation needs for residents and clients, ensuring all appointments and deliveries are handled punctually. • Keep an updated list of bed availability for the emergency shelter. • Monitor all visitors, residents, and clients, recording necessary information for security and administrative purposes. • Notify the maintenance staff of any mechanical issues that need immediate attention. • Ensure the front office area is tidy and well-organized at all times. • Assist in coordinating the activities of volunteer staff and interns, providing support as needed. • Address any resident or client concerns by directing them to the appropriate individual or department. • Document significant events or occurrences in the logbook and alert security in case of any issues. Requirements • Exceptional Customer Service skills are a must-have for this role. • Strong Interpersonal Skills to interact with a diverse range of people. • Previous experience as a Part-Time Receptionist would be beneficial. • Familiarity with Receptionist Duties such as handling phone calls and mail. • Experience in Hotel Reservations, including managing bookings and cancellations. • Ability to Direct Visitors to appropriate locations within the property. • Knowledge of Property Management and the ability to handle related tasks efficiently. • Capability to manage and coordinate Maintenance Requests, ensuring timely completion.
