Front Desk Coordinator
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in RIVERSIDE, Connecticut. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional guest experience from beginning to end, ensuring accurate reservations, handling complaints, and promoting local attractions. You will also contribute to brand promotion through local networking and engage in various duties to enhance the guest's experience. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of a guest's journey, from reservation to departure, ensuring satisfaction and making necessary adjustments • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism • Maintain thorough and accurate guest records • Assist in the preparation and coordination of special events • Engage in local networking to promote a positive image of the brand • Support the General Manager, Director of Operations, and Front Office Manager with VIP amenities, gifts, and personalized notes • Provide concierge services, recommending local experiences and trip enhancers to guests • Leverage opportunities to gather information about guests, such as their reason for visit, likes or dislikes, and encourage favorable reviews when appropriate • Assist long-term stay guests in familiarizing themselves with the local area • Contribute to social media content for the hotel, restaurant, and spa. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Concierge Services • Proven ability in delivering high-quality Customer Service • Proficiency in Data Entry tasks, with a keen eye for detail • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively • Prior experience in a Front Desk Coordinator role or similar is preferred • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently • Proficiency in using office software like Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers • Ability to maintain a detail oriented and positive demeanor under stress • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards resolving issues • Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or on holidays if required • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
