Front Desk Coordinator
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in the Education industry located in Mattapan, Massachusetts, United States. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our students and their parents, handling incoming calls and guests, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for students and parents, providing exceptional customer service. • Efficiently manage incoming phone calls, redirecting as appropriate. • Welcome guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly. • Engage with the student and parent community in person, fostering positive relationships. • Assist with mail handling and distribution within the organization. • Record student absences in an accurate and timely manner. • Fill in gaps in administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. • Leverage Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to organize files and manage data. • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to provide concierge services as necessary. • Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Requirements • Exceptional administrative assistance skills, with a proven track record in office management • Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems, ensuring effective and detail-oriented communication • Experience in providing concierge services, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction • Superior customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining a positive and welcoming environment • Proficiency in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and students • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, specifically in managing emails and scheduling appointments • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents • Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing and organizing files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
