Overview

This is a seasonal position from early April 2025 to end of October 2025. On island housing and meals provided at $19/day.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient and smooth processesTrain, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to deliver outstanding serviceHandle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely mannerCoordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiencesMonitor and maintain front desk procedures, including check-in/check-out processes and reservation managementImplement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and guest satisfactionManage room inventory and maximize revenue through effective room management strategiesConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to front desk team members

Qualifications 2 years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplinesTime management and negotiation skillsAbility to manage and lead each discipline of the department independentlyAbility to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdictionPrior cash handling experience necessaryAbility to communicate effectively with the public and other Team MembersRead, write and speak English fluentlyComputer experience required. Proficient in Opera PMS, Micros, Microsoft Office and Excel  Benefits
