About the location:

From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.

Job Description: 

 

The candidate must have a commitment and passion for ensuring the best in guest services and creating a welcoming first impression and lasting farewell.  This position reports to the Front Desk Manager. This is a highly visible role representing Four Seasons Hotel Doha and managing the day-to-day activities of the Front Office Team. 

 

Essential Functions: 

Coordinates and liaises with various departments to ensure the hotel provides the highest-level guest experiences 

Meets and greets arriving and departing guests; providing genuine hospitality and recognition, acts as Four Seasons brand Ambassador

Acts as point of contact for in-house guests and local customers; provides individual assistance and accurate information 

Maintains high visibility in the lobby and front desk area, assisting our guests in a pro-active manner 

Resolves guest concerns and complaints speedily and efficiently; ensures complete guest satisfaction, protects the reputation of the hotel and the company 

Keeps management informed of guest and staff-related incidents; represents senior management in their absence 

Screens next day movements for special instructions to various departments 

Ensures pending follow up action is communicated to the next shift 

Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in any Rooms Division area 

Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management and is also able to work in all shifts 

Assists with responsibilities in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Guest Services and lobby coverage. 

Works closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests 

Adhere to Four Seasons Hotel’s standards as well as policies and procedures 

Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook 

Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and direct superior 

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills 

Degree Holder, preferably in hotel and restaurant management 

2-4 years of experience as a Front Desk Agent 

Excellent command in English, Arabic is an advantage
